About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! "He will come when you don't think He will come."

      Today was hard.

Did you wonder if it was the final day?

Someone very dear to me was extremely
frightened by all the hype.

Facebook was full of funny comments. I
  giggled.
Then I read some negative comments about
  "true believers".
  It hurt.
I wanted SO badly to write something hateful.

I am truly glad that I held back.

A few of my friends are non-believers.
   They worship gods and goddesses.
Growing up, I had never heard of such a  thing.

Those same friends were at churches today.
Having second thoughts, I believe, and they
   were searching for answers.
   It's a start.:)

I need to take the negative energy I felt
about the unkind statements and turn it
      into something positive.
I need to pray for my lost friends.
        I mean really pray.
They are good people and I love them.

I can't even begin to understand how Jesus
felt when the Romans mocked Him.

"Forgive them Lord, they know not what they
  do."
     Grace, pure and simple.

Today is over and we are still here.

I didn't think that today was The End.
It made me take stock of my life, though.

We are so blessed that God forgives.
He loves us and created us.
Thank goodness, He doesn't expect us to be
    perfect.:)

Matt. 24:42, 44, "He will come when you don't

 think He will come."

No stress, no worries, just live each day in a

 way that glorifies your Lord.

It is sad to see so many lost people going after the wrong things. I just try to be prepared for the Lord's return at all times and I am so glad He doesn't expect me to be perfect!

I loved this post! I'm sorry that someone was upset by the news. My oldest daughter is still frightened very easily. She called and talked to me yesterday:)
It is so sad to know that some people worship gods and goddesses. I saw a decorating show where the homeowner had a sanctuary set up for her roman godess. SO sad :(
Two questions for you..Which of your girls photo is in your banner? Adorable!!! Also, what are the burgundy flowers in this post? They are beautiful!!
You are such a sweetie!! I'm so glad to have you as a friend:)
Love & Hugs, Jerelene

Loved this post! I am glad that God is Mighty to Save and I pray for those who I know are lost. Thankfully my kids didn't hear any of the hype. Not sure how they didn't, I guess we live under a rock!
