Who's up for a Mystery?

I mentioned on an earlier post how much I enjoy hosting murder mystery parties.  Well, I bought another one.  I couldn't help myself.  This particular one was in a YARD SALE.  Some poor soul had no idea of what was in their possession and lucky me- I plucked it right up.  Yep, I did (as my heart did a little flip flop).

You know the best part about these games?  Besides the fact that you get to act silly and solve a mystery (who doesn't love that?) you get to pretend that you are someone else for a night. Someone exotic, mysterious and, most of the time, rich.  Plus, there are secrets.:-)  OK, who's ready to solve a mystery with me?

  1. My aunt did one of these when I was a girl. It was so much fun. We got to dress up all fancy, talk like we were from England, and eat crumpents and tea. BLAST! Enjoy that!! Wish I could find a treasure like that at a yard sale!

  3. Mandy- You can buy the games on-line or, occasionally, at book stores. Ebay is a great place to look, too! Search for "How to Host a Murder" or mystery parties. They are absolutely the most fun! I have had 3 of them so far and they just get better and better... I wish you lived closer so you could come! Although I do have a friend in Virginia that told me she would fly in for my next one.:-) Lori
