Madame Alexander dolls

When I was little my parents used to collect Madame Alexander dolls for my sister and me. We would get one every Christmas.  They were absolutely beautiful and we displayed them in a glass armoire in the dining room.  We had lovely dolls that represented different countries- Brazil, Sweden, India, Russia and so many more.  There were also dolls from Little Women- Jo, Amy, Marmee, etc.  My favorites were my two Cinderella dolls. "Poor Cinderella" had a brown dress with patches, her hair was held back with a scarf and she had a little broom that was attached with a string around her wrist.  The other Cinderella was dressed for the ball in a beautiful pink dress with sparkles!  For some reason, I loved the "Poor Cinderella" just a bit more.  Despite her plain dress, her loveliness shone through.
While visiting a few garage sales, Katie and I came across this "Alice in Wonderland" doll made by Madame Alexander.  Katie immediately fell in love with her!  Well, of course, she had to come home with us!  I told Katie all about my other dolls and now we are on a mission to get them out and display them.  We just have to find the right place...
