I never used to have problems with dry skin, but over the past few years my hands have gotten seriously chapped and dry during the winter. I tried Aveda Hand Relief last year and it was a miracle worker! I put it on one time and the chapping and bleeding (sorry, but it's true) stopped. I know I sound like a commercial, but if you are looking for hand cream that is rich and soothing- and works!, plus it smells AMAZING, you need to try this product. The cream is so rich that you just need a tiny bit of it on your hands. Don't let the price scare you; it lasts a long time. I just got my bottle out tonight as it's that time of year again...
I will have to give it a try, my generic Target lotion isn't cutting it. It is so dry here in Nevada, so good hand lotion is a must.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your little one had a happy birthday. Tell her happy birthday from me, k.
Crafty women like us get chapped hands from using them to craft so much-I am glad you posted this...A good lotion is hard to find!
ReplyDeleteI will have to try that as I get very dry hands. My husband laughs at the amount of lotion I use.

Thanks so much for the prayers! You are a blessing! Everything is going well and I just can't tell you enough how much I appreciate you.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the Aveda lotion! It works! I got some last year because folding and cutting all that stationery was drying my hands out. They were so cracked. A sweet friend who was a rep for my line got me some and I couldn't believe how well it worked. I use it all the time and still have some left - a year later.
Thanks again! You are an angel!

P.S. Thanks for passing on the award. I will try and post it this week. Oh, the chocolate dessert is to die for! Hope is was as yummy as it looks! I'll read all about it in a few.
I will have to look into getting some of this for my Mum. She always has sore and cracked hands and has tried most other remedies.

A good lotion is hard to find, like Robin said! I had some that I really liked. Now it's all gone and they don't make it anymore!
ReplyDeleteI struggle with dry hands in the middle of winter..I will try this!

My grandmother has alsways had the same problem she has always used Nutregena. I agree with Robin if you find a good lotion you better stick with it, they are hard to find. Blessings, karen
ReplyDeleteI used to work at a hair salon that sold Aveda. We got to purchase it at cost. BOo hoo, I so miss the discount. But you are so right, it is worth every penny and smells amazing. You should try the foot one too. amazing.
ReplyDeleteI go to an Aveda salon for my haircuts - wonder if they have the hand lotion? I must ask! Beth
