We have lived in our home for quite a few years and have so many things we would like to do to personalize it. What am I waiting for?? Now is the time!:D Don't get me wrong, I love our house, but it's just a bit too "safe" for my liking. Time to shake things up a bit!
I opened up this month's Mary Engelbreit magazine and saw some things I would like to duplicate... Look at this amazing chalkboard with the greenery! Just think, on the non-winter months you could hang colorful swags! All you have to do is use chalkboard paint and then make a frame using some decorative trim. Now to pick the right wall....
Isn't this huge wreath amazing??! I don't know where I would put it in my house, or even where I could buy a wreath this large, but I loved the look of it!
We have a huge wreath like that. We hang it outside with lights on it. I think we got it from Hobby Lobby. They have so much stuff for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteHave fun decorating!
Oh I love the greenery around the chalkboard. So many cool looking things. I might have to copy some of these.
ReplyDeleteI love all those ideas especially the chalkboard. I have not seen that magazine before - I will have to have to look out for it. I am in the same position with our house. So many things I want to do and so little time and money!

ReplyDeleteHi Lori, I just completed my bracelet buy! Thank you so much for making it! It looks so pretty! I can't post it on my blog, for obvious reasons! LOL! But feel free to post it on yours! A lot of people love paris and might like one similar! I think it turned out fabulous! ...and I love the name you gave it!
ReplyDeleteI love the wreath on your banner! Did you make that? ...really pretty! The other inspirational pics were great too!
Oh, and the wallpaper removal is NOT going well! I peeled off the first piece....not too bad! But it went downhill fast! LOL! What was I thinking...should have just left it alone! But our bedroom is so bland and cold! I just had to do something! ~Take Care!~ Rhonda :)
Rhonda- The wreath on my banner was made by my friend Joy- joyfullness.blogspot.com I am in love with it! You are so welcome on the bracelet! I will mail it to you today!:) I hate to hear about the wallpaper, though.:( UGH! Lori
ReplyDeletei am loving your blog!!
ReplyDeletei am adding you to my blog roll. :)
I have hooks lining the hallway to hang stuff on....Now looking to do one in our "entry way". I have always wanted to have the Christmas trees line the driveway and on the front porch....But the kids would tear them all down so I'll have to wait a few more years!!
ReplyDeleteLove the wreath in the header--is it one of Joy's? Beautiful!
I have a grapevine garland around my front door that I keep twinkle lights in year round. I just like the way it looks from the street.
ReplyDeleteI love looking for fun ideas to personalize my home so keep sharing the great ideas!
BTW, I voted! I hope the polls start sliding OUR WAY!
Girl, you are freaking me out!
ReplyDeleteI saw that chalkboard and thought it would look great in my kitchen... Tim ALREADY made me the coat rack it looks JUST like the one you are showing but it is in my master bathroom!
I love the wreath and have always wanted the trees in the urns by my front door year round... I was looking at the fake ones at Target today but would rather have real!
I do love the wreath Joy made-Such talent that girl has. :)
