Frugal is Fashionable, Baby!

Who says you have to spend a lot to decorate?  Fresh fruit in a basket is colorful and festive...

Place some bright ornaments in a cookie jar and add some colorful ribbon to an item in your every day decor- like Mr. Bunny here- and you are ready for company!

I got this darling twig basket at a yard sale this past summer and now it is full of tissue paper (no one will ever know except us!) with a few baubles placed on top...

How about a decorative glass filled with candy?  Red hots are the perfect color and they look great next to this fellow.:)

More decorative balls to add a sparkle to your pictures...

This topiary was another yard sale purchase.  I just added some gold ribbon and now it is ready for Christmas!

Silver ornaments hang from my light fixture over the dining room table...

And just in case you forgot where you were.:)   This styrofoam ball was left over from a science project.  I just glued on some fabulous buttons and added polka dotted ribbon...
Have fun decorating your home!  Look around and see what you have before you head to the store.  You may be happily surprised!

  16. So love the red hots! Everything is so cute! We have our tree up, and it's sort of decorated, but that's it so far. I don't even have my wreath made yet...

Thanks for your kind words on my loss. Anna's response when I told her was, "Grandpa's in heaven!"
