The Mystery of History

We just started a new history curriculum called "The Mystery of History".  It is amazing!  It begins at Creation and explains the timeline of the Bible along with events that happened in the world.  I believe that I am getting as much of an education, if not more, than my girls.  Did you know that it did not rain before Noah and the Flood?  Did you know that the Garden of Eden most likely existed between the Tigris and Euphrates River in Iraq?  This book is fascinating and I recommend it to anyone that wants a better understanding of the Bible and where it's events co-exist in history.

  6. Linda Hobar came to our support group to do a seminar about Mystery of History last fall. What a fantastic lady!! Very insightful and has she ever put a lot into her books! I can tell that if I weren't absolutely madly in love with Sonlight (for 9 years!), I would be using Mystery of History.

  10. That sounds neat!! Its amazing to think that Biblical events happened at the same time other stuff did. I don't know why I never thought they did before. Maybe my public school education??

  12. Did you know that before it rained there would be a mist over the ground in the mornings for moisture? And that many believe the Garden of Eden IS still there but is being guarded by a large angel so no one can see it?
I think that is great that you guys are studying that book-So cool!
My lower back went out and I have been on my back for days. UGH! It's a "little" bit better today-I can sit for a bit. :)
