Spelling Bee

   Yesterday, Katie participated in her first Spelling Bee.  I think I was more nervous than she was.  (Racing heart beat- check, sweaty hands- check)  She ended up winning first place in her age group!  I was so proud of her!:)

    My Brittany won her spelling bee yesterday too! I know exactly what you mean and now I almost wish she hadn't because we have to do it again at district level. I may have an actual heart attack!

    Ya know, this brought back memories (and not the good kind!) when I went to my first spelling bee I messed up the FIRST word!!! It was 'don't', and I forgot to say apostrophe!!! wah!! :(

    I know what you mean about being so nervous when you are watching them. When Tyler was singing on stage alone with the entire school and their families watching....I don't think I took a breath. Thanks for sharing her accomplishment with us!!!
