For The Love of Birds Swap

   UPDATE!  The swap is NOW CLOSED.  I have so many lovely ladies signed up (yippee!) but we have reached the magic number!  I will start matching people up with partners today, so be watching for my e-mail!:)  I am SO excited!

   Oh, I love birdies!  Birds, bird houses, bird nests, bird cages, etc.  

   It's almost that time of year again when the birds start building nests and preparing for their new little ones.:)  (Below is the darling tassel my friend, Elise, made for me.)

   Look at the hummingbird below!  Isn't she is a cutie patootie?!  What's your favorite bird?  I love black capped chickadees and goldfinches... oh, and BLUEBIRDS!


   My dear friend, Jes, makes the little angel birdies below...  I am in LOVE with them!  


   This little ball of love was in my front yard.  Isn't he the SWEETEST baby?:0)

    Well, I was thinking that I should spread some of this bird love around.  Who's in??

   I am hosting a FOR THE LOVE OF BIRDS SWAP!

    I will assign each person a partner and you must purchase and/or create items that have to do with birds for them.  Think birds, bird houses, bird nests, bird cages, bird fabric, etc.  Please spend no more than $25 (not including shipping).  Plan on mailing your package no later than March 25th!

   **To sign-up you must leave a comment on this post AND send me an e-mail (Lori at toosillysisters@cox.net) with the following information:

1)blog name
2)e-mail address
3)mailing address
4)things that you love 
5)anything that you don't want to receive, any allergies, etc.

   *If I do not receive an e-mail from you, then you will not be included in my swap.*

Due to a few ladies that did not follow through with their swap partners in my last swap, I must mention this.  Please do not sign up unless you plan on sending your partner a lovely and thoughtful package.  I will be posting the names of any people that do not follow through on my swap.  

    I will be limiting the number of participants, so sign up quick like a bunny!:)

    Oh my goodness! Can I come adopt that little butterball from your yard?!?! LOVE all these sweet birdies! And I would love to be a part of your swap, but with the unknowns of this coming month, not sure if I should....:(

    OH MAN!!!! I said I would never do a swap again!!!!! BUT how could I not do this one?! EGAD girl, how could you do this to me? Seriously, who loves birds & bird decor more then I? (well, maybe you)
    Give me the day to think about it (though I already know what I would make and send my partner) UGH!

    I just saw your button on Kim's blog so I thought I would come over to check it out. I am too late to sign up but wanted to say 'hi' anyway! I suppose it's just as well since the last swap I did, my partner never sent me a package. I had fun making hers anyway. That little bird on the button really made me smile! Have fun!
