I was just wondering if any kids still did this? I used to do this as a little girl ~ It was so exciting to me! When Noelle gets older I will help her along so she gives flowers on May day too! Hey, I called you and left a message, at least I hope it was you!!!! Baaahaaahaaa! I'm glad Clara is looking better~♥
Tim and I will watch Survivor when he gets home and things settle down a bit, it ought to be a couple more hours till he gets home!
I bet the girls did have a blast delivering flowers. You know I have never heard of all the May Day traditions that I have read on the blogs today. I think Lexi would really enjoy making a May Day basket and delivering them to a few neighbors. Next year we will have to do it!!! I'm glad Clara is looking better. Both of your girls are precious!!!
I just have to tell you I enjoyed talking on the phone to you sooooo much!!!!!! That was just too much fun hearing your voice! Hope to talk to you again soon.♥
I loved May Day as a kid, I'm sure the girls had a great time spreading May Day throughout the neighborhood, love the photo of the flowers, tulips are one of my favorites.
Hi Lori I loved hearing about this tradition. We don't have it over here. How lovely for your neighbours to receive surprise flowers from your lovely girls. The first Monday in May is a national holiday over here. We call it May Day Monday. We hope to go to a May Day Gala nearby which is usually fun. Have a lovely weekend. Lindsay
