Sick at the Beach

Dear Friends...  I am at the beach- my favorite place in the world (besides home) and I am sick.  This crazy bronchitis has knocked my for a loop and I am in a world of worry.  It has been going on for weeks and weeks...  I have 1 antibiotic pill left, a few steroids and my inhaler.  Nothing seems to be working.  My cough is horrid and I have "bubbles" when I breathe...  So, if you could keep me in your prayers I would truly appreciate it.  You know I love you all so much.
I am taking pictures that I so want to share with you and having fun laying by the pool.  We had a bonfire the other night (s'mores!) and are loving the company of my parents and sister.  Memories are being made.:)  I just feel like I am under a dark cloud right now and I am waiting for the sun to come back...

**** I am sitting here crying while I read your sweet comments.  I can feel your love and prayers all the way at the beach!  How I wish I could give you all the biggest hugs!  (Don't know if you want to get too close, though.  lol!)  Thank you so much for taking the time to pray for me.  It means so much, as I know that God hears every word and thought.  I adore each and every one of you ladies- so much.  I am so blessed with your friendship!   Please do not worry about pneumonia, though.  They took a chest x-ray before I left and all is well in that department.  Praise the Lord!****

Breathing problems can be so scary. We are going to do some SERIOUS praying for you-I say "we" because I know you have some real serious friends/believers in healing that read your blog that are going to agree with you and me for your healing in Jesus name! I'm going to shout out a "thank you Lord" right now! :)

    I love you little sister~♥
Miss you too! Say "Hi" to the fam for me.

  4. Oh no....it sounds like your bronchitis might have turned into pneumonia. I sure wish you were feeling better while you are spending beach time with your family. I am holding you in my prayers.♥

To answer your question about Lexi's pointe. She just started this past dance year (when she was 9). Her teacher said she doesn't normally start them this early (she is about 2 years younger than anyone else in her class) but knew she would do just fine, and she has.

  7. That is not good! Find an urgent care in the area...just in case it's turned to pneumonia. Maybe they can give you something to help you enjoy your beach time more!

I am glad you are enjoying your vacation otherwise!

    Hugs!

  18. Oh, Lori...I am soo sorry to hear your getaway is being marred by this sickness! I have had the same thing for the past week but mine is improving. I have been doing a vaporizer every night and drinking lots of ginger tea with honey in it. Maybe try a steam session in the bathroom? Also...when my son gets like this I massage his chest and back with a light karate chop massage to knock the phlegm and junk out..maybe try that? On the flip side..maybe cooler air at night would bring relief if steam doesn't. I will be praying that you find relief soo..this is no fun and I feel your pain. :-(

    HUgS your way, Angie

  19. I can't believe you have been saddled with bronchitis for so long now. You know you have my prayers. I hope that the sun helps heal a little more. There is enough time to worry when you get home...enjoy your moments and deal with your worries a little later.
    Take care of yourself..

  25. I hope you're feeling better soon! Several months ago I had bronchitis too, for the first time in my life! And I'm 47! I have never been so ill before and it IS a scary feeling. I was sick leading up to the bronchitis and to the end of it all for six weeks!! I could understand how people could die from the flu and complications after that, I started off with the flu and ended up with bronchitis! I will pray you're better soon and breathing clearly! Suzie
