What makes you Happy?

Thought you might like a peek at how my studio is coming along. I have to tell you that it makes me very happy!
Martha Stewart glitter makes me smile...

Embroidery hoops filled with lovely fabric makes me smile! Thanks for sharing this idea, Elise and Jen!

Knock out vibrant colors make me smile!

Sweet birdies made by my friend Jes make me smile!

Taking $1 item and turning into something fabulous makes me smile! (Having a fabulous handy man husband that hangs things for me makes me smile, too. Thanks Sweetie!)

You all know that *buttons* make me smile!:) Having a 6 year old sweetie pie that helps me sort them makes me smile, too....


Rich browns call my name at this wonderful time of year...

But look at the sea of blue!

    What makes me smile...my kiddos....my kitty's purr...my hubby's scruffy beard on my cheek...chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven...and friends like you....hugs!

  17. A treasure trove. Everything looks so inviting.... you just want to sit down and create something wonderful!

    For one, reading about how other people, like yourself, live life beautifully makes me happy!

    Making an apple or cherry crisp on a cool afternoon makes me happy!

    Browsing through pretty craft or decorating or cook books makes me happy! It also makes me hungry to do something creative!

    FYI...the embroidery hoops? If you use a lacey material, they make great dangly earring holders!! (you probably knew that already, though, huh? :-)

    What makes me happy? Hmmmm - a nice, long interrupted nap, a hot bath with a good book and a Fountain Coke....mmmmm...wish I had one right now.
