Here is something delicious to savor on these cold winter nights...
My parents gave me this book for Christmas last year. It sat on my bookshelf for a whole year. I was so intimidated... Well, a year later, we had the pleasure of creating something divine and (oh so easy!) from darling Ina on Christmas Eve. It's our new favorite dinner.
(picture from The Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics book)
She also makes an amazing cocktail sauce to accompany this but the store was out of horseradish.:( I KNOW it is amazing because Ina said so. I am a believer.
*Shrimp (buy the prepared ones at Sam's with the tail on- in the frozen foods), salt, pepper and olive oil. 10 minutes to oh my goodness....* If you don't have the book (you truly should!) the recipe is here.
Those shrimp sound fabulous!!

ReplyDeleteDid a veggie "not lasagna" tonight from a Rachel Ray 30 minute meal cookbook. Prep time was a bit more, but delish!!!
