God Always Has a Plan

We were a minute late for church today.
That's how we roll.

Katie has a friend spend the night.
Normally, this would be a great excuse to miss church.
Not anymore.

My Mom told me that the recent stressful events would end
up being something positive.
I wasn't sure.

She was right. She always is.:)
It has drawn me closer to God.
I want to read more about Him.
I want to be more active in church.
I want to live for the Lord, instead of
for myself.
I have a long way to go, but it's a start.
Something bad turned out to be something
very, very good.
Thank you for your prayers, dear friends.
Thank you, God!

  1. My motto is: Thank God in the good times and in the bad! He sure knows what he is doing and is wonderful about turning the bad times for his good.

  3. Isn't it beautiful how God always wrings out the bad until it squeezes out something beautiful? I am so happy you are drawing nearer to Him.

  4. Well, I am just tickled pink for you! My MIL always says this to her grandchildren when they are scared or worried, etc.
She says "snuggle up to Jesus" and it always helps them and it is good advice for the rest of us, too.

Drawing closer to the Lord is always a good side of bad things : )

    Love you!

    Lori

If you just turn all your troubles and happy thoughts over to God, all is right with the world!!
