Lighthouse Family

Katie and I discovered a wonderful series of books this weekend.
The Lighthouse Family by Cynthia Rylant.

The books are about a little family made up of a cat, a dog and
some darling orphaned mice. The baby mouse is named "Tiny".:)

They all work together to tend a lighthouse and help friends in
need.

Perfect for ages 7 to 10 or Moms that would enjoy a precious
bedtime story. :)

  3. Those books look so familiar! I will have to get them for Noelle when she gets a little older. She is so enjoying the books you and the girls sent her. She can pretty much read them by herself now!

Been thinking lots about you sis-Take care of yourself,

    Love,
    Me

  4. Hi Lori
Those books look so much fun. I can imagine you all sunggled up in bed reading bedtime stories. That's something I miss now Jessica doesn't need me to do that! I remember a book that we got from the library once and it was about a wooden lighthouse that was miserable standing at the top of a cold windy cliff top so he decided to run away. He made it to a fairground where they turned him into a helta skelta! Such a sweet story.

  8. I love children's books and this series sound adorable...with some life lessons snuck in there. Your jewelry is stunning as usual...a little late night craftin' going on, eh? :-)

I hope you are having a good week and the drama has died down a bit for ya...I have been keeping you in my prayers.

    Hugs ~ Angie
