I Choose to...

The other day I was complaining about having to exercise.
Mandy told me I should tell myself I "choose" to do it, not I "have" to.
Wow.
It really made a difference.
Try it.

  1. You've got one smart girl there Lori! I've just started to notice that if I look at things from a little different angle, it does make all the difference... I try not to think about how long it took me to realize that!

  5. Love that! I miss hiking so much. There is no way I can hike and carry a 30 pound baby though! So when exercise is taken away from you you then wish you could get away to actually do it.
I think you have to find something that you "somewhat" enjoy!
    But choosing IS the key!
    That Mandy, smart smart girl!

    Love,
    me

  7. Thanks for much for suggesting this different way of looking at things Mandy. Today I am choosing to do housework all day, Jessica is choosing to do her homework and Tim is choosing to do his school planning and marking! It really does work. Mandy you are amazing, we love you.
