Home school P.E. class.
We hit the trail today.
The scent of Honeysuckle.
Almost worth my allergies.
Green.
Quiet.
Peaceful.
Lesson on Poison Ivy and Ticks.
Two of the main reasons I avoid the woods.
I was so glad I tagged along today, though.
If I bring my camera I can go anywhere.
No kidding.
It empowers me.
Just call me Flash.
Kids are the best.
I could take pictures of them all day.
No fear.
Living life and not holding back.
The sound of the water running. Peaceful.
I didn't want to return to the noise.
Little wild strawberries were scattered throughout.
Lush green with pops of red.
Hidden treasure.
A little fairy village, perhaps?
They begged to stay and play.
So we did.
Yes, please.
Mandy braved the water.
She never backs down from an adventure.
She slipped and took quite a tumble but she told me that showed that she had "lived".
I love the way she thinks as I usually play it safe.
"Stop opening my phone."
They do love each other.
Some of the time.:)
I stood there and clicked away.
I laughed while they struck poses, made faces and tickled each other.
We got our school work done later.
The weather was just too nice to go inside.
Fun in the Sun.
Indeed.
Making scary faces.
You just never know where the day will take you.:)
Wow!!! A day in Paradise. What lucky little students!!! Great pics, great fun!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I made the little fabric birdies. : )
those kiddos are so lucky, not to be stuck in a stuffy school house all day!
ReplyDeleteLori, what a wonderful day!! I love all the photos you took! Priceless!
ReplyDeleteThat looks a wonderful P.E.Class. I can see they all had a great time in the woods. You were so brave Lori. Hope there weren't any ticks! Your pictures really captured the fun and happiness. Loved them all especially Mandy the adventurer barefoot in the stream and Katie's smile always makes me smile too :)

Getting out in nature on a pretty day, to me, is always medicine for the soul! Isn't it fun to take a look around and discover all sorts of things? Glad y'all had such a good time, Lori!
ReplyDeletewow, what a great day! I want to go next time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day! I love the smell of honeysuckle. I don't have to go to the woods for poison ivy and ticks....unfortunately we have them right here at home. Mostly in the kudzu patch across the street.
