I pray for my girls all the time.
I have started to pray for their future husbands, too.
They are in the world right now... somewhere.
I pray that they know and love the Lord.
I pray that they will grow to be kind, loving and
strong.
I pray that they will love and cherish my girls.
Someday.
Each day brings us closer to that time.
sigh.
Stop it!!! You are gonna make me go get a Kleenex.
ReplyDeleteI am totally on the same page with you on that. I have started too!! ;)

ReplyDeleteI have 3 competitive swimmers and joke that I have three more in the pipeline! I swam in high school and college and think it's the greatest sport in the world, especially for homeschoolers. And I agree, it's never to early to begin praying for their future mates!

ReplyDeleteHow cool!
ReplyDeleteLori my parents prayed for my future husband when I was a little girl and they taught me to pray for him as well... I specifically remember praying for the man/boy the Lord would have me marry when I was a very young girl... Probably the most important prayers of my life... I have been HAPPILY, BLISSFULLY, and HONORABLY married for 21 years!
ReplyDeleteVery Very wise, Mom!!!!! Your girls will thank you someday. : )
ReplyDeleteOh Lori how true this is!! I pray for Kaitlin all the time and also remind her that she needs to find someone she is evenly yoked with!! I love the fact that you and your Katie are doing the couponing together too! Isn't it a blast! that too is a learning lesson for a lifetime. To be frugual!! Mandy is looking so pretty as she matures. I pray for her all the time Lori!! Love, XO Fran.
ReplyDeleteI pray for our girls, too - ages 11 and 13. It's always encouraging to see other moms who do the same for their own daughters' future husbands. God bless you!
