Good Morning Pretty Ladies! Yes, you in the faded robe with the matted eye lashes encrusted with mascara and breath to knock over King Kong. Oh wait, that's me.:) Just wanted to remind you that you are all beautiful no matter who you are or what chapter you are living in your life. You know how I know this? Because God made you! Your outside is lovely and made in His image. Amen!
How is your INSIDE doing? No, I don't mean your spleen. Are you beautiful on the inside, too? This is something I have struggled with for a long time. I carried jealousy (BIG TIME) and anger (OH BOY) like a giant backpack- forget about a chip on the shoulder! God has been working through me and I am feeling like my load is quite lighter these days. For some reason, I felt that if I was supposed to feel this way?? Looking angry and talking negatively about people was what grown ups did?? I didn't want to miss out on being an adult, no ma'am! But guess, what? That's not what God had in mind and it was affecting my health and the way my girls viewed others. I was a bad role model.
I am here to tell you that you can be beautiful on the outside and the inside! You will be happier, your family will be happier and God will be so proud of you!:) I will be proud of you. When you are living your life today, realize that there will always be others with more things, there will always be people that will be hateful, but YOU have the CHOICE of how you feel about it. Hallelujah! Just because people have more (or weigh less) doesn't mean they are happier. If someone cuts you off in traffic, they may be on their way to a funeral or the birth of a baby! Use the power of prayer. I do- all. the. time. I don't know how God puts up with me, but thankfully He does.:)
Love you.
