December Journey Part 3

My all time favorite Disney park is Magic Kingdom.  It's where the magic truly happens.  But Epcot- well, Epcot has it's own wonderful flavor...

We always enter Epcot by way of The Beach Club hotel.  It's a lovely little walk and there is so much to see on the way.

Gorgeous flower everywhere- even on top of the trash receptacles!

This stunning carousel was created just for the holidays...
 out of cookies and chocolate!

It sat in the lobby as you enter the hotel.  Can you imagine the time it took to create this?

Here's a close up of one of the horses- "Snofia". (smile)

And a lighthouse!  Check out the chunks of chocolate "rock".

My Dad reading an excerpt of Mandy's book.  She has it all on her phone and adds to the story when the mood strikes her.

Epcot now has a Starbucks!  I even saw the symbol at Magic Kingdom.  Still no Pepsi, though.  The one thing I miss when we stay onsite.  I'm a Pepsi/Mountain Dew fanatic!

My dear ones that put up with my emotional drama and occasional funky moods.  We have such crazy fun together!

We discovered the shops in China this time!  How had I missed them??  Mandy and I hit every. single. shop. in. every. country.  It was fun- and great exercise walking around the world.;)

The shops in the U.K. are my personal favorite.

Right across the street is where you can enjoy fish and chips!  Vinegar on the french fries is amazingly yummy.  Have you ever tried it?

The ingredients used to create the Gingerbread Carousel.  Delicious!

As you can tell this is NOT Disney.  lol!  Had to include it, though, as it was an adventure!  It's not every day you get to hang out with an ostentation of peacocks!;)

  1. Hi Lori, I really enjoyed seeing your recent Florida pictures. You know how much I love the Beach Club so seeing the amazing carousel and chocolate light house made me very excited! Epcot is special I agree, the countries and shops are my favorites. If you like the Epcot UK shops best you should hurry over to the real UK very soon and shop with me ;) Is the last picture the road your mom took us to in Tampa with the peacocks who live there? It was such a fun sight to see. Lindsay x

  2. That is so cool! I love the little China dolls. They are just so cute! As for Starbucks, I'm not a huge fan anymore but I do love their Creme Brulee Latte. I usually drink my coffee from Pete's Coffee or Philz Coffee, which happen to be my most favorite coffee spots! The UK shops from the pictures you posted look so cool. My mom actually has a couple keep calm posters that are framed and hung on our walls. The picture with Katie and the Peacocks is so adorable! I really love Peacocks. I hope you had a wonderful time with your family!
