jamberry nails review and giveaway

I've always loved decorating my nails.  Even if I was having a bad hair day or wearing my "fat" jeans I could feel good about the state of my fingernails.  Well, usually for the first day.  Then the chipping began... and the peeling.  Soooo, I decided to just skip the process and only focus on special occasions.  Yes, my nails felt a bit unloved and unappreciated. Sob.

(Jamberry Pickled Paisley on pinkie and ring finger- OPI polish on middle and pointer)

A friend of mine hosted a Jamberry nail wrap party last month and I learned they are non-toxic, last 2 weeks on fingers (6 weeks on toes), require NO dry time (apply and go), have NO chips and are simply DIY.

FYI: The last time I had a salon manicure the technician nicked my finger and I ended up passed out on the floor.  It wasn't pretty.  Needless to say, I now like to do my nails myself.

This all sounded quite impressive.  When asked if I'd like to review Jamberry nails I decided to tell my story.  My girls got in on the action, too.  They were immediately in love with them!

(Modeling Jamberry on pointer finger below)

As you can see, the Jamberry nail looks amazing after 1 week and the nail polish has given up.  (It's been about 3 weeks now and the Jamberry nail still looks this good.)

This is how my nails looked after a week.  Jamberry is lovely and the OPI polish is just plain sad.

I'll admit that I was a bit intimidated about the application process.  After all, everyone has different sized nails, right?  Well, it turned out to be quite simple.  You trim to fit, heat for 3 seconds with a hair dryer and apply.  Simple.  Just the way I like it.

It's so easy that my 11 year old applied these Jamberry wraps all by herself.

This is what the little girls sheet looks like.

And this is what the adult size sheet looks like.  Each strip will do a couple of nails- not just one.  Take a peek below...

Way less expensive than a salon manicure.  And safer.  Non-toxic and no risk of passing out!

Take a peek at some of the gorgeous Jamberry designs!  I adore the chevron pattern.

The quatrefoil is stunning and the blue/white lines are fabulously classic.

A gorgeous splash of color for your basic ensemble!

A lovely evening out all the way to your toes...

I have the biggest crush on turquoise!  The little lemons are darling and don't get me started on the polka dots...

Summer is just around the corner.  Are your toes ready?

Grey and Pink are swoonlicious!

Mommy and Me combinations...

Perfect for a Garden Tea Party...

A French Manicure that will truly last.  A dream come true.

Yep, loving these, too....

Princess for the Evening...

These are four of my favorites.  After all, the wraps are buy 3 get 1 free...

Jamberry even has wraps for Sport Fans!

I am a huge fan of Jamberry nails after reviewing them!  They are easy to apply, have gorgeous choices and really last as long as they say they do!

Interested in getting your nails ready for summer?  You can't hide them in your boots anymore, ladies.  Flip flops will be calling your name any day now so...

*I was given Jamberry nail samples in exchange for my honest opinion.  No other compensation was received.*

Also very excited to see my necklace and so appreciate all of your sweet support while I have been in the hospital. You can't imagine how much it means. Hugs to you, now on to see some more of your posts. I am behind!

  3. I can't decide my favorite. Birds in Paradise is super fun. I like the polka dot ones and the black and white check reminds me of retro Vans shoes :)

  4. I like the solid with a sparkle. It goes with everything. I am following Angel on FB. I am afraid of fake nails and all the chemicals used in the salons. These are so nice. Not sure if I could apply them by myself.

  7. Oh Lori, I would LOVE to win... These "appeal" to me!! I wash my hands every 5 minutes it seems and that's when I'm not cleaning or doing dishes... Nail polish doesn't work for me at.all. However on the weekends when I am at jewelry shows I feel like everyone is looking at my hands... I love the mint chevron and the clear chevron, but the floral and polka dots are fun too!!

  9. Oh my!!! You were right! this is the thing for me! Yay! Passing out at a salon?! How awful. I had someone cut my foot -- it took two months to heal. Awful.

  10. Ok, the whole turquoise sheet and the grays and pinks are my favorite. As much as I love patterns and polka dots, I would probably just do a blue polka dot on my ring fingers and the rest solid blue, or a pink striped and the rest plain pink. Thank you Lori; I'm off to place an order!
