Pumpkin Party Ideas

I adore pumpkins.  Chunky and round, they almost begged to be kissed!  These are some of the pictures I have kept over the years in hopes that I could someday host the ultimate "Pumpkin Party"!  All of you, of course, will be invited.:-)

The perfect way to display your house number...  A pumpkin topiary, what else?:-)
Pumpkins and ribbon- two of my favorite things!  You tack down one end and glue the rest of the ribbon.  Easy and FABULOUS!
The trick to this beauty is hollowing the pumpkins out and putting mason jars inside filled with water...
We have a front porch that is just waiting for this opportunity...
I don't know if I am brave enough to put votive candles on my stairs, but I love the picture.  I want to paint the letters for the word "Halloween" on my white pumpkins!
What a great way to display treats!  I believe it's just pieces of felt that look like candy corn.  Heather- this makes me think of you and your yummy mix of candy corn and peanuts- heavenly!
Hope you can all make it to my party!:-)

  2. My favorite event of the whole year except Christmas is our annual Soup and Pumpkin party! You should have one at your house!

  3. I'd be there! Oh, if we lived closer. The fun we would have. I love the letters on the stairs too, but would be a little leery of the candles also. Can't wait to see your porch all decorated!

  5. I love the candy corn treat holders. Sadly, we have only had two trick-or-treaters come to our house in the seven years we have lived here. And I adore Halloween. If you have a web cam you could host a virtual party.

  13. no lie, about 5 of the magazine pages you showed are in my "idea" file that i keep for inspiration. My favorite pumpkins are the ones my mom made out of fabric when I was a little girl. I made wooden pumpkins cut outs last year for the front of my home. On one side I painted harvest pumpkins, the other side they were Jack-o-lanterns. That way I could use them for two months instead of just one. Cant wait to see your fall & Halloween decorations this fall.

  16. OMG< we have the sames books and magazines. We must be peas in a pod! I even bought the candycorn candles! OK, so you MUST got to TJMax. Do you have one? They have them there this year. The small are $3.99 as opposed to $9.99 which was the original price at Yankee Candle! And decorations? Well, I'd tell you about some other great places I found but it makes my heart start jumpin' around so I'll stop now. I get too excited, LOL!
