Playing Cupid

Hearts, the color red, glitter- so many of my favorites are popping up around my house.  I am so inspired to create, but I must get my house organized first.  It feels so good to get things in order- or at least a bit tidier.;)
As Valentine's Day approaches, please don't forget family members that have lost a loved one.  Each year I send a package to my dear Nana, as Papa is no longer with us.  Her valentine is waiting in heaven for her, but in the meantime I will play Cupid.:)

  1. Awwww that is just so sweet. I am ready to start doing some kind of craft for Valentine's Day...not sure what yet. Maybe just glitter some hearts!

  2. Amen to having a more organized house! I hear ya! And what a sweet reminder to care for people who lost the ones they love!

My Grandma lives a half a block away. We moved her down off the mountain and into the valley several years after Grandpa died.

I try to give her the same brand of chocolates he'd get her every Valentine's Day. Alhtough, I know it's not the same coming from me....

  3. That is so very sweet of you and I'm sure your grandmother really appreciates it. Both sets of my grandparents are gone now, so they will be celebrating Valentine's Day together!

  4. That's a lovley idea to send a package for Valentines Day. My Grandma always sent me a valentine card every year until I got one of my own so I never did not have one. She is now 93 and I could send her something like that. Thanks for the idea.

  5. Lori,

What a wonderful idea! I know a couple of ladies near and dear to my heart that have lost their loves. You've given me the inspiration to show them they still have "Valentines"!

  13. That is sweet...I never thought of that...I need to do that for our next door neighbor...He is a widow and I bet he would love to get something from my little one...She calls him pappa and were not even related but he is always so good to her. Thanks for reminding me of this.

Love the keys...wish I had bought some at walmart when I saw them at Christmas...need to kick myself for that.
