Mandy's acting class put on the most amazing hillbilly jamboree last night!
It was full of music, dancing and lots and lots of comedy!
Here is Mandy as Little Red Hillbilly Hat.:) (The hillbilly version of Little Red Riding Hood.) The boy with the blanket in front of him is the wolf pretending to be Grandma!
Oh No! It's not really Grandma! It's a WOLF! Run Little Red!!
Oh good. Here comes Grandma with her GUN!
I was a bit skeptical of the hillbilly theme, but it was FABULOUS! I laughed until I had tears coming down my face! I can't wait to go again tonight.:)
"Run wolfie, Granny's got a gun!"

ReplyDeleteSo so fun. Love the kids on stage and just being in the moment. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is great!
ReplyDeleteAnd the kids all look great too! They did a fabulous job with their costumes (I guess with a little help from their parents!).
I love seeing things like this, I love the enthusiasm of young people!
And I like that they put a twist on a classic!
Wonderful job!
And thanks for sharing it all, Lori.
Very sweet.
Love to you,
Eileen
How much fun is that?! Oh, my goodness, I bet Mandy and the rest of the crew had an absolute ball! Brittany took theater classes her first 2 years in high school...I know Abby would love something like that!
ReplyDeleteWish I could have gone!!! What a wonderful opportunity for those kiddos to broaden their horizons. Don't tell Steve (my brother), but in H.S. he played Capt. Von Trapp, Li'l Abner and (Linus or David, I forget) Larrabee, in Sabrina. : )
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your Miss Mandy looked adorable in the pics. Thanks for sharing. : )
Mary Lou
