"RELAX" and "ORGANIZE"
Happy New Year! 2012 is like a beautifully wrapped gift for us all. What will we find inside? The possibilities are endless! My word for 2012 is going to be "RELAX". I don't know about you, but I *never* give myself permission to relax. I have to steal it on occasion and then feel guilty. Why? Not this year! I am going to be selfish and give myself one other word to work with- "ORGANIZE". I am the Queen of Piles. Oh my goodness. Piles of stuff in the kitchen, bedroom, school room, etc. Sigh... The key to relaxing is being organized and I am going to do my best to excel in both areas!
What is your word for 2012?
just set small goals once a week to get organized..and then RELAX..what a nice word..haha. I'm still working on my resoultion for the year!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I am not the only one who pile "files"...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteThese have to be my 2 words also Lori. After being made to 'relax' recently I really enjoyed it. I know all about the piles of stuff too. I spent 2 hours today 'organzing' and feel so much better for it. Unfortunately those 2 hours were spent in one room only and I have 4 more to tackle! I WILL get there..............eventually!!!

ReplyDeleteThumbs up on your words, girlie!!
ReplyDeleteFunny that you mention organize tho. I have been reading up on FlyLady.... have you heard of her?
Google her! She has some pretty obtainable goals for organizing.
Happy New Year Lori!! Relax is a wonderful word and I'm glad you have decided to do that-I think we all need to allow ourselves to do that! My word is Soar! I am going to soar this year-meaning I'm going to try new things, go with the flow, relax and let my creative juices flow! I decided before the end of 2011 that I was going to knit projects for next Christmas all year through and I'm sticking to that! Good luck to you and your family for the year to come!!
ReplyDeleteMy word for this year is patience!
