Not a Care in the World

Today was sunny and cold!  But we made the most of it and went shopping! (Always fun, regardless of the weather) I traded in my Coach purse for something more "Spring like"- and less expensive!  When Jeff finally told me how much he paid for my gorgeous purse I nearly fell over!  If I had kept it, I would have feared for my life!!  The sales people at the store were extremely friendly and helpful, but the first thing they asked when I said I wanted to exchange my bag is,"What do you not like about the Carly purse???"  I told them that I LOVED it, but I could feed a small village in Africa for the next twenty years with that money. (Just kidding- but I probably could)  Jeff told me that I should have any purse that I like and that I deserved it.  I am so lucky that God sent him to me.:-)  Here is my new Coach purse- pink for Spring!  I love it, but I love my husband more...

After shopping, we took the girls to the candy store.  They were thrilled!  There's something about being able to pick one gummy butterfly, two giant malted milk balls, etc. and having all your favorites in one place.  Yummy.  The sales lady told us she gets to "sample" the candy.  Hmmm....  Definitely a perk.  You need to know your merchandise, right?  Here they are skipping with their bags of candy:

Not a care in the world...  Just the way I like it.:-)
