About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! This, That and the Other

Mandy is the only person I know that
likes the heat. Wish I did.

Tonight we talked about creating a version of Lord
of the Rings starring Pugs. Pilbo Paggins, Prodo
Paggins, Pandolf, Paruman, etc. We laughed
about this at bedtime. Mandy has such a great sense of
humor.:)
Do your kids do this too? What is it with the peace
sign?
Such an odd choice of swimming apparel. Katie is usually
my little fashion plate. She was so excited to try out the new
water toys that she couldn't wait to find the top to her swim
suit.:)

My sewing machine and I are becoming friends. Miracle.
I still need help threading and such but when my machine is
humming I am in my happy place.

Katie has been saving her money up to buy Lanie,
the American Girl doll of the year. She has $11 to go. I'm
as excited as she is- maybe more.

Peaches are my new favorite fruit. I bought some today
from our local "corn lady". Sweet and juicy. Watermelon
has met it's match.

Heather will be here in 8 days. My house is in need of some
love. I must craft first. Priorities, you know. Heather will still
love me. Cannot. Wait. to. see. Them.
Mimi's Cafe is offering Kids Eat Free after
4 PM on Sundays this month. Go and order their salad
with pistachios. Their Arnold Palmers are great, too.
Who wants to cook in this heat?

Despicable Me. This weekend. I want to see Salt.

Stay cool. Eat peach cobbler. Read a book. Enjoy.

I'm not too much for the heat, either! The water slide looks like so much fun! Hubby and I might be going to the dollar theater to see IronMan 2 tonight--we are way behind on movie seeing!

Hi Lori
Peach cobbler and reading a book sounds a great idea to me. Mandy and Katie look to be having such a fun time with the water slide. What a perfect way to cool down. The pictures are so cute.

Just wanted to say that Jocie has that same swimsuit Mandy is wearing. Maybe they have more in common than we think ;o)
