About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day was a flurry of activity at our house! Katie made cookies with her friend, Lillebeth. This one was her favorite. It lasted about a day but still ended up in someone's tummy.

Mandy invited her friend, Jocie, to spend the night. Jeff took us all out to dinner and then the girls played The American Girl game (no longer made but you can buy it on ebay) and watched The Princess and the Frog. LOVE this movie! Love the story, the music, the humor, everything! Have you seen it yet?

Katie spent the night with Lillebeth and they had the best time playing with their American Girl dolls. There is something so special about girls and their dolls...

We even had a little St. Patrick's Day celebration! I wore green so I wouldn't get pinched. Did you?:)

Green Hawaiian punch- of course:)

We also had Pokemon Club that day! I was so sure that Pokemon Club would be full of boys, but we certainly do have a lot of girls that love it, too!

Thank goodness I shopped early at the grocery store as all the "green goodies" were gone on St. Patrick's Day. I think lots of people have fun with holidays and why not?;)

Tristan- You are so right- I am wwwaaaayyy behind, dear friend. Bear with me!:) At Pokemon Club the kids trade cards and "battle" each other (card game). We have refreshments, the Moms visit and at the end I have a drawing for a pack of cards!:) They love it.

American Girl dolls are such fun! You may want to start Taylor-Austyn with a Bitty Baby. They have clothes and accessories for the dolls and she can even dress like her doll! Lori
