About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! The kitchen is the heart of the Home...

The kitchen is truly the heart of the home.
Of course, we eat here, but we also...
Drink tea here.

Do taxes here.
Create birthday gifts here.

Read plays here!

We make friends in the kitchen.

We get creative here.

We laugh here.:)

We feel good about ourselves here.
(Except when Girl Scout cookies are in town.)

We try new things in the kitchen.

We eat goodies in the kitchen.:)

Sometimes smile for the camera in the kitchen, too.

We enjoy life in the kitchen.
Every second is precious, you know.

We do school in the kitchen.
Check out that stack of books.
Not even half of them...

We play games here.
(The girls make me smile and laugh! LOVE them.)

We even tell secrets here.

We read stories here.
MJ wrote her own American Girl story about a girl named Zoe.
She was so sweet to share it with us.

We relax here.

I wish I could have you all in my kitchen.

The fun we would have.:)

Hi Lori
I really enjoyed this little window into life in your lovely kitchen. It made me feel like I was right there drinking tea, being creative, playing games and having fun. It looks so welcoming that I can see why your classes are so popular :) Loved Katie's dress. so pretty. Even Ruby looks to be enjoying hearing the story. I've never made a gingerbread house but I love gingerbread. I would probably eat it before it was finished! Wish I was there right now.
