About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Strawberry Soup

Disney's 1900 Park Fare is where I first experienced the magic that is Strawberry Soup.

*I was tickled pink to discover a recipe for it!*

You will need:
2 cups strawberries (no hats, please)
1 cup OJ (We used Silk's Fruit and Protein and it was YUM)
1 cup vanilla yogurt (Use what you have- strawberry or another fruit flavor would be great, too.)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
whipped topping

In a blender, combine all ingredients (except whipped topping) and process until smooth.

Pour the soup into bowls and top with a bit of whipped topping.

Like I said, use what you have.  I think that a bit of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and frozen banana would make a nice soup, too.

My little chef was such a happy helper.
:)

I just can't leave her alone with the whipped topping.

Enjoy.;)
