About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! First Day- October

October 1st.
So worried it would be the last day of my life.

Thankfully, God had other plans.:)

All packed up for my surgery.

Last peeks at my sweetie pies.

Glimpses of me they would find here and there...

Stopped here to mail letters to my girls.
I wanted so much for them to feel my love while I was away.

At the hotel we found out we were VIPs!
Fun.

Enjoyed dinner at a yummy restaurant called Yaya's.
See me?:)

Ate entirely too much garlic.
It was fabulous.

Too late I realized the poor surgeon would fall victim to my breath!
Oops.

We had the place almost completely to ourselves.
It was such a nice way to relax after a day filled with CT scans and labs.

We'll have to go back at night to enjoy the lights.

Had to peek into Anthropologie.
The store makes you feel good.

Owls.

The Biebs.

My favorite coffee!
Back in stores for fall.
Mmmmmm.

So glad to still be here.

And, my tumor was BENIGN!!!!!
Praise the Lord!

Love those owls and that coffee too!! I am so very glad everything went well. I feel badly that I haven't stopped by here more often. Facebook seems to have sucked me in unfortunately. I am going to have to try to pull back from it a little:) Keeping you in my prayers Lori...praying for healing! Love you dear friend :) Jerelene
