About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Filling up my Wish List...

It's almost September and the flurry of Fall activities are in motion!  Are you ready for Christmas?  My amazing friend, Robin, is certainly putting me in the mood for it!  She is currently hosting a "Stocking Swap"!  Doesn't that sound like fun?!  I was the first person to sign up and I knew you did not want to miss out!:-)
Robin is also getting ready for the opening of her new Etsy shop!  The grand opening for "Kindred Crows" (love the name!) will be next Monday...

My new wonderful friend, Heidi, has just filled her Etsy shop with the most gorgeous items for Christmas!  I am in LOVE with her beautiful quilted table runners- they have tiny jingle bells on them!

She also makes lovely Christmas ornaments and quilts....  Stop by and start your Christmas list!
Another lovely friend, Summer, just opened her Etsy store this week!  She is such a talented artist and her pictures always make me smile!  Stop by and you'll be smiling, too!
If you don't have atleast one joxlette for your wardrobe, you are missing out.  Joy, another fabulous friend, is currently making Fall joxlettes (fabric buttons/pins that add so much to your clothes, purse, shoes, etc!) to fill her shop!  She is also starting to make fun family stationery!  Stop by for one of a kind gift ideas!

What talented friends you have! I have not really thought about Christmas yet, but it sneaks up on me every year, so I should. I would love to be your neighbor and swap pumpkins for tomatoes. I totally LOVE pumpkins and can never grow them. I did not even try this year. I cant wait to get some for the front porch!

I am going to have to check those stores out!! I listened to Robin's music all day yesterday, and this morning I am listening to Kenny G's Christmas cd. And some people thought I was jumping the gun on Fall!!

Hi Lori,
Thanks for posting about my stocking swap...I do hope your readers join in on the fun!

I went and visited Heidi's Etsy store last week and was just blow away~ She does the most beautiful work ever! I was just talking to my Mom on the phone yesterday about how wonderful her quilt runners are.
And I know Summer and have gushed about what cute artwork she does.
Joy's Etsy store is new to me so thank you for sharing about it.
Also thanks for putting the link up to my Etsy store...I haven't been in there yet to fix it up but it will be up and running by next Monday!
Hope you are having a blessed day.
You sure bless me every day.
Thank you.
Robin~♥

What great Etsy finds! I'm hoping that Robin's Stocking Swap will motivate me--I usually wait until the week before everything has to be mailed! And of course, every year I vow to not do it again!
