About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! What am I Missing??

There. Is. Nothing. To. Watch. On. TV. I caught myself watching Paris Hilton's My New BFF last night. Yip-E. That lasted for about 30 seconds. I do enjoy She's Got the Look sometimes when I am on the elliptical machine. I like the idea of ladies over 35 becoming models. Anyway, are there any good shows I am missing????

Oy. I was just telling my mom and sisters the same thing. BTW: Emma is in Idaho for a few more weeks so would you and your gals keep her in your prayers? Now as for shows to watch...I like 18 and counting on TLC. But I must admit that I am loving Netflix right now because cable just ain't cutting it.

I had to laugh because I was flipping thru the channels tonight (like all 500 of them) shaking my head because NOTHING was on worth watching. Then I come over here and see you are having the same problem!
It won't be long before all the new shows are on... I can't believe there are only 105 days till Halloween. Noelle will be 7 months old on Saturday (Carson will be a year old tomorrow!)
Noelle has SIX teeth poking through at one time (we can see and feel them all) She's handling it quite well.
I have to run to Spokane Saturday to pick up Ty (my 23 year old) he will be staying with us for a week. Ronnie's boyfriend is coming back into town Sunday from visiting his family in RI... He will be home (Fort Lewis) two weeks then will take off for his second year long tour in Iraq. Yes, I said boyfriend.
:)
Miss you BIG time!

Hi Lori
It's the same over here at the moment. I found myself watching the shopping channel this week one day while I was ironing. Desperate or what?!!! There was a similar Paris Hilton show over here called
'Paris Hilton's British Best Friend'. I watched it once and didn't bother again. Jessica is still watching Desperate Housewives! You are not missing any good UK shows at the moment. Hope you find something to watch. Wish I could send you something.

Morning Lori,
From what I see there is nothing on here either. Even On Demand movies are not that good. I so wish that Harper's Island was still on. On MTV I like to watch 16 and pregnant. I do not like any of the other shows really. The food network has some good shows on sometimes tho. Hope tonight is a better TV night!

Monday night is the only good night in my opinion-with The Bachelorette!!
I watched Paris Hilton's BFF, too. I must've been desperate, cause it was lame!!

It doesn't seem like we even have time right now to try and watch TV so I am no help at all. Some of my favorite shows are Survivor, Hell's Kitchen, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. Nothing too deep....lol. Of course, none of those are on right now.

HI Hun! I was saying the SAME thing last night! And I even asked my hubby- Is there another Writer's Strike going on again I don't know about? There's NOTHING on. I ended up watching Waynes World on VH1. Couldn't believe it!
Thank goodness for my GHost Hunters Int'l show on Weds.
Hugs!

I don't know you lasted even 30 seconds watching the Paris Hilton show. That is 30 seconds longer than I would have lasted...lol. If I watch t.v., I tend to watch HGTV or The Food Network. Of course, then I always want to paint a room or make an extravagant meal...hmmmm..maybe that isn't the best advice. We watch a lot of movies during the summer...everyone brings out their pillow and blankets and camps out on the floor...complete with pizza and popcorn. This weekend we are watching some scary movies!

Enjoy your weekend, girlie!

Love & Hugs, Angie

I love watching "the Closer" on TNT (Kyra Sedgewick!) but that's on Monday. There's not much else on tv right now :( I'm still reading the Twilight series... almost done with the 1st one, I've had alot of distractions.

Hilarious. You know what you need? Good new music. That'll keep you moving. Punt the TV - there's NOTHING on and you've done your due diligence there. Or sign up for Netflix! But don't succumb to bad TV; you'll grow to resent those hours that you'll never get back.

So You Think You Can Dance - probably only a few more weeks left, but the dancers and choreographers are amazing.

You can catch re-runs of The Big Bang Theory if you have never seen it - hilarious especially if you live in a house loaded with nerds and geeks like I do.

Have you ever watched Clean House on the Style channel? It's one of my favorites.
I hate to really admit I like watching this but....The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Atlanta, Etc. I have no idea why I like those shows...;)

Hi Lori,
I'm addicted to Clean House on the Style network. Miss Nash is so entertaining and I love watching people clean up their lives/houses.
