About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! August Cara Box Partner - Michelle

Cara Box time again!
For the month of August my partner was the amazingly creative Michelle!

Michelle is an absolute sweetheart and created a lovely and thoughtful box of love just for me.:)

There were pink polka dotted napkins...

and a sunshine yellow polka dotted bowl!
The softest Ralph Lauren wash cloth...

and tiny ball trim in a rainbow of colors along with fabulous buttons!

These yummies were gone within minutes.  I'd never tried cassava chips but am now officially hooked! They are crazy delicious- and gluten free.;)

I'm over the moon in love with these gorgeous bookmarks Michelle created for me!  Lovely colors (turquoise!) and the pages are from the book Little Women- another one of my favorites!

How precious is this handmade card??  I tell you, Michelle was a bit worried that I'd think her package was "lame".  Far from it, sweetie!  I loved each and every treasure!  Thank you so much!

Wow! Those are really cute. I tend to buy a lot of cute stuff from these cute little Japanese dollar stores located in Japantown, San Francisco. Sometimes my penpals will send me little cute trinkets too.

Rhoda- I'm not sure who created the little bowl but I adore it!:) I should host a swap and partner you with Mandy. Wouldn't that be fun?!;) Lori
