About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Time to Dream

Take a minute and dream with me, would you?

Checkered floors in the laundry room?
Yes, please.

The floor tile, the light fixtures, the peek into the bedroom...
Sighing yet?

Looks like a reader lives here.
I'd like to live here, too.
The colors are yummy and the vignette on the wall?
Perfection.

(I tried to sneak these pics when the realtor wasn't watching.  Who was I kidding??  He knew exactly what I was doing.)

Sigh.

Digging the light fixture, too.
And the cozy pillow and chair.
I love it all.

The kitchen.
I nearly fell over.
A huge farmhouse kitchen sink, the color on the cabinets, and the door on the pantry!
Can't. Take. It.

The wood floors.
And we were only getting started.

The light/dark contrast.
Stunning.

The windows!  Light filled the house.
My daughters squealed when they saw this.
I think I did, too.

The armoire.
Too bad the house doesn't come furnished.
Not like we're going to buy it, but we're dreaming right now so I am buying it furnished.;)

Built ins everywhere.
All through the home.
I think I know someone who likes books, too.
Just a little bit.

Every space was thoughtfully planned out.

A place for the pets.
See what I mean?

A sleeping porch.
One of my dreams.
There were window seats, too.

More built-ins.

The cow over the fireplace?
I call dibs.

These are the neighbors.:)

Isn't it fun to dream?

Fabulous house!!! I have really dark kitchen floors like that... When the workers asked what color stain I wanted I said, "the darkest you've got!" They thought I was crazy till it was done~No regrets here!

Robin- It's funny, but our wood floors are the lightest we could find because that's what I wanted 10 years ago. Now I want dark! Or maybe I just have a huge crush on this house. You should see the outside- gorgeous! Lori

Hey Lori! That looks like the perfect house for you guys to live in since it has a lot of built in shelves for you to put all of your books in. I love the lighting that comes into the house and all of the furniture! I'd actually would love to live where you guys live. Which part of Kansas is that?

Hi Lori
I loved seeing the pictures of this beautiful house. It was like viewing it right there with you :)I like the splashes of pastel colors around the place especially in the kitchen. It does look to have a really nice homely feel and the wood panelling reminds me of a beach house. I would love to see a picture of the outside if you have one. It would be fun to have cows as neighbors but for me I dream of living near horses. Hope you take us along to some more viewings soon. Lindsay x
