About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Feeling Fabulous!

I am going to read up a storm this year! Yes Ma'am! I am starting with this book....

Really good, so far! Has anyone else read it! Do you plan to read more this year?

Want to start "Feeling Fabulous"? I know I do! Go here and join me! This is the BEST idea! Write more handwritten notes, try more new recipes, purge (you know we all need to!), get more sleep, eat healthier etc. I love a good check list and great incentives!:)

It is snowy here today- all pristine and white. Kind of like a new slate.:) I woke up this morning and thanked God that I am "me". I am not perfect (far from it) but I am loved and the world is my oyster. I hope that you all feel the same. Are you savoring your moments?

No snow here (well actually a bit still leftover from Christmas Eve) but it felt really, REALLY cold today! Our forecast shows the coldest temps. of the year coming up this next week. Our highs in the teens to 20's and the lows in the single digits...BRRRRR!

I want to read more too and not just my magazines. Right now I am reading through Country Living Simple Country Wisdom - 501 Old-Fashioned Ideas to Simplify Your Life. Lots of great tips and ideas that kind of go along with what you have written!

Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday evening.♥

Who doesn't want to feel fabulous and then to have someone else tell you that you look fabulous. I have those on my list! I am always adding book titles to my reading list. I will add your new book - be serious and tell me if it is a good one to add. Stay warm!

I haven't read that one, but I am always looking for a good read. 2009 was the year I made a goal to reading more for fun and it went really well, so I plan to continue this year too.

Hi Lori
Hope you are enjoying your snow. Ours had just about gone and then we got some more on Saturday night. It was scary driving today on the icy roads and it is freeeeeeeezing. I am lucky I have my neck snuggie to keep me warm.
You are right, you are loved so much especially by your english family.
I am hoping for some moments I can savor soon!
Sending much love and a big hug today.

Great goals!! Write more handwritten notes, new recipes, purge, get more sleep, eat healthier! Great!
I love your word for the year, too. Savor. So important. Mine this year is Intentional. Intentional words and time with my kids, intentional time in prayer, intentional focus on my husband. Even intentional fun and rest. Because, really, there are those of us who have a hard time just sitting still! ;-)

Be sure to let me know how the book goes! I need some light reading. I keep my head stuck in Herbal books most of the time.
