About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Hodge Podge

The girls and I watched this last night.
Such a classic.
Jack Lemmon is one of my favorites.

Getting ready for my Nancy Drew class.
Dig that cover.
Nancy should stick to solving mysteries.

Loving my mantle in the hearth room.
Joy made the yummy frou frou swag.
Robin made the darling button pumpkin.
Somebody forgot to make-over the pink bunny.

Preparing for our next American Girl class, too.
Fun creations for our next meeting!
I love reusing our catalogs.
Kit would be proud.

I want to try this!

Pumpkin-licious Nog (1 cup= 110 calories and 2 grams of fat)

5 cups light vanilla soymilk
1 small (4 serving) package sugar-free fat-free instant vanilla
pudding mix
6 no-caloirs sweetener packets
2/3 cup canned pure pumpkin
1 tsp rum extract (skipping this)
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend on high until
thoroughly mixed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to
allow it to thicken.

If you like, top off each glass with a sprinkling of cinnamon.
Enjoy!

5 servings
