About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! 5 on Friday

Colonial Williamsburg.
Who's up for a field trip?
ME!!

September 7- 22, 2013

The whole fiasco with Paula Deen is just plain silly.
Having your life destroyed over something you said a million years ago?
Sweet Southern Belle, it's just all shades of wrong.

Free subscription to Home Educating Family Magazine through midnight TONIGHT.  Normally $25!  Ordered mine last night.
Boom.

Monsters U.
Really cute.
But Monsters Inc. is still my favorite.;)

Is that a ladybug??
Come make a wish!
(my fave part)

It's Perfectly Normal??
Not at my house.

The book below is beyond disturbing, dear friends.
Recommended for ages 10+ yet it was not allowed in a jail as they felt it was pornographic??

Currently pulled from the shelf at my library for review.

I have some young followers on my blog so I'm not going to post the youtube video.
Parents need to be informed.
Check it out.

We loved Monsters U..but i still love the Inc!

Did you know that Williamsburg is on my list of MUST DO vacations at some point in my life..I think it was Felicity (american girl) that made me become a fan!!

I adore Paula Deen..and I don't think hardly anything can change that.

whhhaattt is that book?? ahh!!

Tristan- You absolutely must go to Williamsburg! It's one of my most favorite places in the world. The Felicity movie was filmed there and learning history by seeing it is the best way. You can even dress like Felicity when you go! You must watch the youtube video on this book. I was appalled. It has everything to do with sex- with cartoon pictures. EVERYTHING. For 10 year olds! Jails won't even allow it. That says something. Lori

OH MY WORD!!!!! for 10 year olds..ugh..that makes my heart sick. Deff. NOT perfectly normal. eek.

And, I will go someday..totally. Maybe when T-A is a little older and loves Felicity!! Although, I am so glad I bought the books when I seen some of them..all the historical AG are going away..makes me so sad!!

Lindsay- We're not signed up for the trip to Williamsburg although I would LOVE to go. It's absolute wonderful and I know you would love it there. Perhaps after I visit you in England you can come to Virginia for museums in D.C. and a history lesson in Williamsburg?;) Felicity's best friend (in the American Girl series) is Elizabeth and she's from England- so perfect for us!
