About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Award!

I received this wonderful award from my dear friends, Jerelene and Angi! Thanks so much, ladies! I need to tell 7 facts about myself that you may not know already...

#1- If I purchase a book as a gift, I will not open it. I think part of the gift is that the recipient will be the first to crack the spine.:)
#2- I love scary movies but will not even think of going in a haunted house at Halloween. No way.
#3- Sewing machines intimidate me so I am forever in awe of people that can sew.
#4- I won't buy popcorn at the movies unless it is freshly popped. (They store popcorn overnight in large trash bags. Yep, I worked at a movie theater when I was in high school.)
#5- I prefer e-mail as I feel like a boob on the phone. Dead air can give me a panic attack. (How is it that I keep running out of cell phone minutes??)
#6- I don't go anywhere without my camera. You never know when a memory might take place!
#7- I love the movie The Karate Kid. If it comes on TV I must watch it. I know all the lines and even owned the soundtrack of the movie when I was in high school. (You're The Best Around!)

I would like to give this award to Lindsay, Missy, Heather, Olenka, and Jill!:)

Very cool award Lori!

I love hearing your 7 facts about yourself-I didn't know those things about you!

When you are on the phone with me NEVER feel like a BOOB (that made me laugh)-I'm so easy going we could just sit on the phone and say nothing and I would be happy!

Have a great weekend, we are off to Spokane on Saturday.

Hi Lori
Congratulations on your award and thanks so much for passing it on to me. I enjoyed reading your facts and learning more about you. I really enjoyed our phone chats in April. I can't remember any dead air! I was shocked about the pop corn. I will always think of you now when I see it at the movies! Now I will have to have a think what I can share in my post.

Congrats on the award...I feel the same way about talking on the phone! Plus people usually think I'm a kid. Someone once asked to speak to my momma. I said, "Uh, I am the momma!" Lovely!
