About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Ballet and Vidal Sassoon

I'm back! The Christmas season is so busy but also so wonderful. So much to do! Katie had her ballet Christmas performance the other night...

This is the smile she gave her Dad. Diva.

So, I had to take matters into my own hands. I do love my camera. This is Katie and Lillebeth. Cuties!

All set for their dance to "Child in a Manger"....

Katie is third from the left. She is the youngest in her class.:)

Katie's teacher said a prayer at the beginning of the evening. She is only 21 years old and her faith is so strong. She has over 100 students- already! God has certainly blessed her and she is a blessing to each and every one of us...

We are ready! Today is the BIG GAME! Army versus Navy!!! GO NAVY! Mandy and I went last night and bought THE FOOD. (The only reason the girls will sit still and watch- tee hee...)

I had to show you, girlies! I had my hair cut, colored, highlighted and dried *STRAIGHT* last night! I love it, but can never do it myself. So, here are some shots of it before it goes back to curly. It's so soft! (It moves like a Vidal Sassoon commercial- remember those?;) ) Oh, and I am loving my new hair clip from Julie! I think I need some more. But, how will it look with curly hair??? hmmm.....

What do you have planned for today?

Love your hair like that! What a fun change! I am a little jealous of your naturally curly hair, so I'm glad you don't straighten it all of the time! Missed you on thursday!

Katie is soooo cute and definitely a DIVA!! She sounds like she is going to be like Lexi....the youngest in her class cause she is so good! Finally, in one class Lexi is not the youngest this year but the teacher is talking about moving her up to the highest class with high school girls and just a few middle school where she would be the youngest again next year. We will just have to wait and see.

I LOVE your hair curly but it is also adorable straightened like that...CUTE!!

We are working on more crafts for another Mini Society at school that will be held on Friday. Once was fun. Twice would have been fine but they do it four times! UGGGG!!!

Your daughter is adorable, and so graceful looking!

I like your hair both straight and curly.
I used to pay over $100 to get my hair curly! Now I just live with it straight.

Enjoy!
Love to you,
Eileen

I can't believe how much you look like me...It freaks me out!

I love your hair so much...I was just talking to my stylist about highlights and going lighter! She said she needed a picture of the color I want...I'm just going to have to take this one of you with me!!!

I love the photos of Katie...The first one cracked me up because it reminded me of Ronnie. She used to put her hands up in the air like that and say "superstar!" (Yes, from the movie Superstar/so corny)

Speaking of Ronnie, her photo shoot went SOOOOO well. She looked amazing when she got home. She had a lot of fun.
Her make-up/hair stylist was a Christian and the photographer was really funny. He came into Seattle from Portland today to shoot her and a couple of guys.

Sorry about the book here in your comments!

Love,
Me

Wow! Your hair is so different-I like both ways-Trust me, if you want to straighten it, you can, it just takes time...I would know-I have curly hair, and I straighten it...when I have time!
Love those little dancers! They are so cute. My two oldest are in tap and jazz, and are starting to get ready for their performance in May...and yes, I am talking about my boys! :)

Hi Lori
Your new hair looks lovely. You are so lucky, you look beautiful with both curly and straight hair. Jessica and I are so jealous of people with naturally curly hair. Mine is straight but I do run the straighteners over it each morning after I have dried it. Years ago I had permed hair and it was much easier to just dampen it and it was done. I love your color too, it's very similar to mine! Well we are sisters! Tim says to tell you that you look like your Mom with your hair straight.
Katie is such a cutie. We enjoyed her ballet pictures. Such wonderful memories for you all.
Please keep us updated with new baby Duggar. She is in my prayers.
