About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Anne Book Review

Anne of Green Gables Book Review

In this book you will see an imaginative,

red-headed orphan girl named Anne Shirley

who could never find an eternally loving family.

You will also meet two older siblings named

Matthew and Marilla. They are trying to adopt an

orphan boy that is not French, that is young

enough to be taught but old enough to work with

Matthew. Then a mistake happens that ends them

up with a whole new problem.

This book is for people who are kindred spirits.

It is very cheerful but it does have a little bit of

sorrow close to the end, though. I would not

recommend this book to people that love action and

nothing more nor little kids that are super hyper.

They will not be able to sit through the reading. It has

adventure in it but mostly it shows a girl and the

emotions of growing up.

This book was written by L.M Montgomery.

**Mandy wrote this book review and I thought

she did a wonderful job.:)**

Very good book review! I'm wondering if my 9 year old would like it. She brought home Pride and Prejudice yesterday from school and I just don't think she'll be able to get through it.

Lori-this book is one of my favorites!! It is also my 2 girls favorite. We used to watch Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea on the Disney channel when the girls were younger-we just loved it! You brought back wonderful memories! Great book review by the way!
