About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Strange Smells and Party Planning

Strange smell in the house.
Friendly Gas Co. man stopped by today.
Thankfully, no leak.
The mystery continues.

Reading this. Boring beginning. Now I can't put it down.
Thanks, Heather!:)

Birthday party planning time.
Harry Potter theme for Mandy.

American Girl Slumber Party for Katie.
Love the planning part.
Anyone want to host the parties for me?
Off to read my book. Has anyone seen the movie?

How long is the boring part last at the beginning? I started the book and I just could not get into it. I'm not sure what was the problem. I took it back to the library and started another book. Is it really a good book to read after all?

I hope it's not a septic problem... Ugh. Or a dead mouse in the dishwasher casing (This happened to us when we lived out in the country.) Yuck!

The parties sound great!

I saw that movie was on HBO the other night, I didn't watch it but might now! Let me know when you are finished with the book if you loved, loved, loved it-Maybe I will read it. BTW: Mom is reading The Help and LOVES it!

Love,
Me
P.S. I posted a craft on my blog with your name all over it today :) Smooch!

Have you got to the bottom of the weird smell yet? Very strange! Love the themes for their parties. Happy planning. You have the best parties at your house.

Harry Potter themed party sounds fun! As well as the American Girl slumber party! I LOVE party planning! Can't wait to see pics!

I just picked up The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last week, and downloaded the second book to my Kindle. Starting on it as soon as I get a chance. I feel like I have had zero reading time lately! My bff just finished the first book and she said it's intense and leaves you wanting more...good thing the second is already out. She said the subject matter is somewhat explicit and hard to swallow. So, we'll see!

Hope you're having a great week so far! I'm getting good response to the necklace giveaway! :)

Weird smells--those usually come from my fridge!! Or my septic system. Hope you find out what it is soon. I would be afraid it was somethin' dead.
My poor kids don't get parties. I'm just the worst mom ever!

I hope it's not the seriously bad mold Lori! Let me know when you find out! Ugh-Seriously, it's like something major goes wrong at least once a year!
Maybe when the guy installed your new washer he did it wrong?

Hope your party planning is going super!

Hope you figure out what the weird smell is! Do you have a bathroom you don't use very often. Sometimes the shower or toilet get dried out and the sewer gases come back in the house (even if you have a septic instead of sewer). Just run some water in the shower, flush the toilet a few times and run some water in the sink. Hope this helps!

I love all the party planning!! Glad you are liking The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo-it was really good!

I hate tracking down a weird smell!! Hopefully you find out what it is soon. Both of the parties sound wonderful!

I keep seeing that book, and was trying to decide whether to read it. Sounds like a slow start but that it picks up....kind of like the Host did.

Fewer things I hate more than mysterious smells. I hope you track it down soon.
