About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! This and That...

Had tons of fun here today.
Moo Cards.
Can't wait for mine to arrive!
I'll be able to give cute cards out instead of writing (with a crayon) on old receipts. At the bottom of my purse. Where all my packets of Splenda have spilled out.
I am one classy lady.

My living room.
Today.
We're going for a new record.

Watched this last night.
Love the lines and could quote them all day long.
What movie do you like to quote lines from?
No touchy!

Why am I plagued with checking the stove every time I leave the house?
And when I go to bed??

Don't get me started on the garage door.

Please tell me I'm not alone.

Can't wait to see your snazzy new business cards, Lori...they will make getting word out about your ETSY shop so much easier! You still have your Christmas tree up? Wow...I do believe you have a record there!;) I used to check the stove, gargage door, and all the doors, but I guess I've just loosened up over the years...no real rhyme or reason.

I knew we could have left our tree up!! Love it!
I always check the stove. I've been known to check it before I get into the shower. I'm terrified I'm going to burn the house down!

I love to quote lines from the Princess Bride and sometimes The Incredibles. Today I kept saying, "Baby steps, baby steps, baby steps...."

LORI! I cannot believe your Christmas tree is still up! I am in shock though I am laughing at the same time!

I can't wait to see your cards too...I'm still working on mine, maybe I'll throw the towel in and follow your lead.

My problem is that I don't check the garage and stove enough!

Love you,
Me

You are not alone Lori. With me it's the hair straighteners and the heating! My stove doesn't bother me. It has a glass lid with an automatic safety gas cut out so if we close it while it's still lit, it will just turn off. The straighteners get used every morning and I am always scared of leaving them on. I sometimes have to come back into the house to check them and make sure the heating is off too. They are always off but I still have to check :) Your moo cards sound a great idea. Hope your week is going well.

You must be related to my dad. He checks the stove, and the doors (multiple times), and the garage door, and the lights, and the oven. He rubbed off on me. I'll even get out of bed to check the doors, if I can't remember if I checked them before going upstairs.

I still have my tree up...it's now a Valentine's Day tree. :) I posted pics last week.

Hope you're having a great day so far!!♥

No, you are not alone. I do that with the stove and garage door too and my daughter still has her pink c-mas tree in her room. Great post!

I must open the back door at least 4 times each night to check and see if the garage door is on and the motion alarm is triggered. Then I have a real sickness . . . I have to wipe out my stainless steel sink so that it is spotless & completely dry. I know - who dries out their sink??? But I have a beautiful spotless sink! Now what do I think about the Christmas tree . . . brave! I take it that it's not a real tree, right? If I could I would love to keep it up, just to remind me of my favorite holiday.
