About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Don't just sit there!

If you can't take the heat.
Go jump in the pool.:)

Here are some other fun things
to do:

Free for the month of July!  Go here.

Host a Harry Potter movie marathon!  Recipe for Butter Beer and fun t-shirt ideas found here. (Thanks Design Dazzle!)

Turn off the TV and have a nightly Family Story time.  Wonderful book selections are found in Read for the Heart.  I am currently creating a *huge* book list from this.  (Thanks Angel!)

Glitter your Toes!

I prefer Martha Stewart glitter and a bright, funky color.  I am rockin' deep PURPLE right now!
Paint the nail color on and sprinkle super fine glitter on top of it before the paint dries.
Smile.

This is crazy cute.
And FREE.
Smile some more.
(Thanks, Make It and Love It!)

These will make you smile every time you look at them.
I want to make one.
Wanna join me?
(Thanks, Nancy!)

I love glitter nails. But tell me why it's so darn hard to take off?! I nearly get 2nd degree burns trying to rub that mess off.

--- but it won't stop me. :)

We are building forts in my living room. :) My pillows and couch cushions thank me.
