About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! School, baseball and Mrs. Crabbypants

The school/studio/everything room needed help.

It's just not possible to work and learn in a pig pen
           environment.

The girls and I finally have things cleaned, sorted, and
          organized.
We'll see how long that lasts.

Our new curriculum arrived the other day.
A World of Adventure for 4th-8th graders.
I am anxious to open the box and take a peek.
I am curriculum junkie and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

The only problem is... we are still finishing up last
           year's work.
I am not a diehard teacher.  It just doesn't work for us.

We went to a baseball game the other day.
Seeing friends and eating junk food was fun
but otherwise the girls were not impressed.
                     (I read a magazine.)

Some of us whined because it was so hot.
When I got home in the a/c I was much happier.

                                         Summer volunteering ends this week.
                           So does swim team.

                                 I can sleep late again.

                                                      No more Mrs. Crabbypants.

Love the school room--especially the pink desk. I've been wanting to paint Anna's desk pink. I just haven't gotten around to it.

I need those desks... And a big room, to fit them I'm, how awesome is that? I hope it stays organized for you, I totally understand it being impossible to learn in a pigpen. I can barely function nicely in one!

It'll be fun to read more posts, I like your open/honest style of writing.

Following from the crew! :-)

I sure wish I'd known you were doing a World of Adventure...I have it here and have been trying to find someone who would want to use it:) You could have got mine....If you know anyone else that likes that...I have one.
The room looks lovely. Love the table too!!
I just have to ask...do you leave your tree up year round and decorate it according to season? Just happened to notice :) I have left mine up for a very lengthy time and decorated..till my husband said please take it down..And this yr..we had Maci and so I sort of had too:)
Love you!! Jerelene
