About Me
- mysteryhistorymom
- Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Lori at toosillysisters@cox.net

The Person I Marry- TOS Review
The Person I Marry is a wonderful book for all ages. It was named the 2010 Book of the Year from the Christian Small Publisher's Association! The Person I Marry was written by Gary Bower and illustrated by his wife, Jan Bower of Bower Books. The book is part of their Bright Future collection and it brings to light what is truly important in choosing your husband/wife. Kindness, honesty, thoughtfulness, integrity, and respect, (to name a few things) matter so much more than just being attractive and material items. It's such an important reminder when the world tends to be caught up in beauty and material things. The illustrations are warm and lovely and the book would make a lovely gift or addition to your home library.
Gary and Jan are the parents of 12 children and through the many experiences of parenting have written a number of beautiful books to bless your family including What Do Heroes Wear?, Tessa's Treasures and Mommy Love.
