About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Gearing up for Fall!

Oh my goodness, we are gearing up for Fall at our house!  Yes, I know it is August and hot as the blazes, but it is raining here today and in the low 80's and I can dream that October is knocking at my door.:-)  The white pumpkins are HUGE (still not sure what to do with them) and the green pumpkins are turning orange.  It makes me so happy!  The sunflowers are glorious and they seem to fit in with the Fall theme.  I have tons of ideas for what to get my swap partners- in fact I am starting to pack lots of fun items to mail!  Good times!!  I have also signed up for more swaps!  Yes, I am crazy, but they are better than Oreos and milk!!:-)  My new fabulous friend, Heidi, has the most gorgeous blog (and check out her Etsy shop!!!) and is hosting a "Very Vintage Halloween Swap"!  Sign up and join the fun!  The lovely and creative Tangee is hosting another fabulous swap, too!  Her "Ghoulishly Glamorous Swap" includes orange, black and glitter!  Her Pinkalicious Swap was such fun and this one will certainly be too!  Come on, you know you want to sign up with me!:-)

Aaaaah! I have signed up for too many swaps and cannot stop! Have you seen Viv's halloween doll swap? You know I'm in that one, and yours, and a sheet swap and... Okay I may have to do one of the ones you mentioned too. I think we are going to have to start a swapers anonymous!

Heather- My sale was AMAZING! I sold almost everything in my shop and now I am exhausted- but happy. You would not believe how many people asked about the "Iced Coffee" bracelet that you bought! But you got there first.:-) Now I just need to adjust a few sizes and get the "treasures" shipped off. Then I can focus on my custom orders.... Thanks so much for shopping!

I almost have your swap package ready, too! I just need to find a big enough box as one item is pretty big. I hope you like everything!! Lori

I am a swap junkie!! I love to swap so much, it is very addictive!

I love your photo's! The colors of fall are so beautiful. We were just talking about apple picking yesterday. We usually go mid September and that's kind of our beginning of fall tradition.

Great photos! I can't wait for fall to officially get here. It was cool here today--only 93 with the heat index. When will it end??

I am so glad that I am not the only one who has pumpkins turning orange! I was afraid they turned too early since I have never grown them before! Great photos!
