About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Popcorn! Get Your Hot Popcorn! Only $1!

The girls worked at a concession stand today!  They were raising money for their American Heritage Girls troop.  The girls served hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, candy, etc.  It was fun to see them working as a team.  As an added incentive the girls earned $1 for each hour that they worked and they could use it to purchase snacks.  They all thought this was the coolest thing.:D

Annika and Mandy walked around selling popcorn.  They were darling- and quite successful!

Katie loved working behind the counter!

Such a wonderful troop of girls!!

Those girls are just so cute! Are they too old to be called cute? So wonderful - I would have bought popcorn if I had been there! Beth

I would have bought everything from that group of girls! Mandy looked like quite the salesgirl there! Good for her!
And Katie looked like she had behind the counter down -How could anybody not buy everything from a cutie like that? :) Love the photos Lori!

Are the American Heritage Girls a bit like Girl Scouts? They look gorgeous in those uniforms. What a fun event! Thanks for sharing it.

I've never heard of American Heritage Girls. We had Girl Scouts and Campfire Girls. Anyway, it looks like all the girls had a great time and what a great experience!
