About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Garden of the Gods and Focus on the Family

Following in the steps of the Duggar family.:)
Did you see them on TLC?

Here we are at the Garden of the Gods...

My girls loved it and were so happy to pose for pictures!
Smiles, everyone, smiles.;)  (Who remembers what TV
         show that is from?)

                                   Big rocks.
                         A great backdrop for pictures.
                         It blew my mind!

No charge to explore.  Some of the best things in life are free.

I love my girls.  They are the best part of me.

Love this picture.  No, she is not stuck- just exploring.:)

                                               Breathtaking.

Then, we were off to Focus on the Family!
The Duggars signed their book here or I would never have
        known this existed!

The bookstore is a dream!  We spent quite a lot of time in it.
(And quite a bit of $$!)

We could not wait to explore Whit's End!

Whit's End is the kids play area!  It has a 3 floor slide, soda
shop, a studio where they can record a radio show to take
home, a stage with costumes, and their very own wardrobe
from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (below)!

We walked  into the wardrobe!  It was really very clever!

My girls loved the slide!  It actually leaves the building
and goes around and around and around and....

This is where they record the Focus on the Family radio show.

What a view!  Focus on the Family is free and open to the
public.  You should go if you get a chance!:)
