About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Yard Sales in January??

I have a secret passion. I absolutely love yard sales. It's kind of like hunting for treasure. Most of the time it's endless searching, but sometimes, if you don't give up, you get lucky. I used to be such a snob about yard sales (I would NEVER look through someone else's castoffs!) until I realized I was missing out on all the fun!  No one else will tell you this because they're afraid you will get hooked and find all the good stuff before they do!  I still love shopping at Nordstrom, but if you want to find me on a Saturday morning I'll be the lady driving around town looking for "hidden treasure".  In fact, I saw some signs today....

I was a yard sale snob as well. After seeing some of your lovely treasures, I am now converted. I also love antique stores for the same reason.
